Buffalo Bills Blueberry Stout

Color is black with good carbonation and a thick tight tan head. Aroma of pepper and blueberry. Taste is light and crisp. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a light crisp feel. Finish comes in with a peppery blueberry taste then some citrus that turns to a mild bitterness. After taste is a continuation of the citrus and a little more bitterness. This is an ok brew but has no Stout characteristics.

Surprised to see the relatively low alcohol content, this has a tendency to warm your stomach like wine does, not one that I would seek out again.

2008 Bottle I try to keep an open mind, but these fugazi fruit beers just taste terrible to me...aroma is of course sticky blueberry, coffee and a bit of chocolate, soapy...flavour is as you would imagine like a mediocre stout with blueberry syrup pumped in..I know that every batch is supposedly made with 30 lbs of real blueberries, but it still tastes phoney, which in my opinion is an even worse result than the totally horrible fruit beers ie. wild blue that do not even try to claim that real fruit is used....extreme brewing is dangerous in the wrong hands....

12oz bottle (Binny’s Naperville)-Pours a dark brown with a nice head that diminishes into a small covering. Aroma of blueberries, roasted malt, and chocolate. Taste initially of blueberries and more blueberries with some malt and slight chocolate. I have to agree with a previous review that this should be a fruit beer instead of a stout. This medium body has no qualities of a stout except for the color.

Poured a dark brown color with an averaged sized tan head. Aromas of blueberries, chocolate, and some roast. Tastes of blueberries, chocolate, light roast, and a touch of caramel. Medium sweet with a light tart finish.

Black with a thin tan head. Aroma is blueberry syrup, light roastiness, chocolate, fresh blueberries. Taste is an odd blueberry taste, roasty, chocolate,

Bottle. Poured a dark brown/black with a one finger brown head. Aroma of blueberries and not much else. Flavor was fake blueberry cereal (Think Boo-Berries). Not a horrible beer, but not something that I would buy again.

Blah. Awful beer...not that I was expecting anything great. Aroma was stunning. Strong blueberry with nothing else. Pour was a nice deep dark brown with no head. Taste was very thin and weak. Strong blueberry and grain, with a bitter drying aftertaste. Tastes like cereal. Almost no carbonation. I would call this a fruit beer instead of a stout. Has no stout like qualities.
