Bottle from coopers. Poured a dark brown color with a small dark head. Aroma is strong blueberry with some chocolate as well. TaSte is a combination of fake blueberry and some chocolate. Pretty drinkable but not very good.

Dec 5, 2009 Pours dark brown to nearly black with off-white head. Nose has a true blueberry aroma (not artificial, contrary to what others have said). Some roasty notes are in the nose as well. This comes through on the palate as well, with some dusty cocoa, and of course blueberry sweetness. Hop bite at the end. Rather easy drinking, even with the fruit component.

Nov 26, 2009 Assertive blueberry presence in the nose accompanied by cocoa, brown sugar, and toasted malt. Dark mahogany body with a small cream-colored head that didn’t leave a ton in the glass. Flavor is interesting, unique, and enjoyable. Not extremely complex but again the blueberry shows up well. Chocolate covered blueberries sound delicious, right? Medium mouthfeel. Not bad.

Nov 25, 2009 Bottle. Pours near-black with a medium tan head. Aroma of blueberries and chocolate malt. Flavor is roasty chocolate and coffee malts with a slight blueberry finish. While blueberry and dark malt might seem like a bit of a stretch, it resembles a chocolate covered blueberry so it is actually pretty good.

Nov 25, 2009 Pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is blueberries, roast, grains, sweet fruits, malt. Flavor is blueberry, roast, barley, chocolate, the blueberry and the roasted grains and dark malts meld together strangely but it works. Bitter chocolate cocoa finish with a strange blueberry skin bitter tinge in the finish. Strange brew, but keep em comin Buffalo Bill.

Nov 15, 2009 30th July 2008. Opaque stout with a beige head. Startling sharp blueberry and floral sweetness over a robust mildy toasted oatmeal stout. Flavour has an artificial tang but that’s okay. The carbonation works well.
