Most of the local brewpubs are hop-mad, and this was o good find. Pours a dark black, little carbonation. The aroma is roasted coffe and barley malts. The taste is smooth, balanced, and not at all overpowering. This is the kind of stout that you can sit and sip 4 or 5 pints of very easily. mwsf (360), San Francisco, California, USA
