The opening half is better than the finish. Crisp ripe orange and juice are the topnotes; orangepeel and zest are the finish. Loses points on sweetness, but great if you want a pure fruit beer with no copouts like vanilla opting for sweetness above accuracy. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 24, 2007 12 oz bottle poured with a thin fading head. Poured a light amber color. Big aroma of oranges and...oranges. Flavor is all orange with a slight bit of hops. Kind of like orange soda but not very sweet. I probably couldn’t drink more than one of these in any given sitting and don’t see why anyone would want to. after4ever (2776), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Nov 24, 2007 12-oz. Pours clean golden yellow with a thin and fizzy white head. Big orange blossom nose--they got that part right, for sure. Absolutely smells more of the floral blossom than of the citric fruit. Fizzy, light body. Fairly tidy lager-like body and mid-palate; maybe some nutty or toasty notes there, but it’s mostly a matter of delivering some floral and citric orangey notes to the tongue. Clean and uncomplicated and easy to drink, but not super interesting. beerbill (1962), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 20, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Pours a mostly clear gold with a moderate linen white head that faded to a very thin film by mid-glass. Pleasant aroma reminds me of Stewarts Orange Cream soda. The flavor is oranges with just a bit of sweet malt. Effervescent and light on the palate. I’m surprised this is listed as a winter seasonal, I found this beer very refreshing and would think it would be more of a summertime brew. Not something I would drink everyday, but a nice change of pace. TheBeerOrg (1583), Kentucky, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 8, 2007 Pours bright gold with wispy, mostly receding off-white foam. Aroma of citrus, sweet orange, and tangy. Taste of sweet orange, reminiscient of the orange soda or tang. Light cookie maltiness in the background. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with lush carbonation. I didn’t care for this. Wulfstan (509), California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 27, 2007 This is interesting and I generally like it. It is sparkling light amber, a bit fizzy, with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a thin ring. The aroma is strongly flowery, especially citrus flowers, orange, and dust. The aroma almost really unpleasant but stops just short of that. The taste is orange, flowery, tangy, and nicely biscuity light malt in the finish. The palate is light and lively. I like it but it’s not something I’d drink often and the aroma almost puts me off. richlikebeer (832), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 25, 2007 nice golden color, fluffy white head and particulate floating within a nicely sparkling body. sweet orange aroma, some floral notes, and a generic lager type of background. sweet orange flavor, a bit of bitterness as it fades into the generic lager aftertaste. it makes me think of drinking miller light after eating orange tic tacs. i pretty much love anything orange, which is why i tried this beer, but i dont thing orange+beer is a very good combo. 4nu815 (3), Jackson, Tennessee, USA does not count | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 24, 2007 Very Aromatic.
