Bottle. Figured I’d try it since it was on clearance at World Market for 3.99 a 6-pack. The descriptions in the other reviews are dead-on. Not unremarkable, but also not that great. Definitely better than xxxxxx light, though. Great value this time, but I wouldn’t pay full price.

Orange peel is quite prominent in the otherwise lightly sweet nose. Lightly hazy golden body is topped by a fizzy white rapidly and fully diminishing head. Very sweet with plenty of tangy orange. Light bitterness in the backend. Tastes quite a bit like an orange soft drink although perhaps not so sweet. Light body is very dry and somewhat puckering in texture with very strong carbonation that is a bit overpowering. Snifter. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in Aug-09.

12 oz bottle from Three Cellars (Franklin, WI). Clearing out the last of the brews from our last trip. Pours a hazy gold, white head that dies to absolutely no head, some light carbonation. Aromas are stale wheat malt first and foremost with some underlying orange notes, a touch of florals and some underlying sweetness. Initial is flaked wheat, stale, a bit skunky, with some sweet orange dream bar sweetness on the backend that is not appreciated. Finish a bit flowery, sweet orange, a bit cloying. Not enjoyed very much.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Norm’s, 7/31/09

Aroma: Orange candy, honey, sweet and sugary
Appearance: Pours a cloudy bright orange color, it has a fizzy/bubbly white head that is almost soda-like in it’s fizz and the speed with which it disappears
Flavor: Super sweet, basically tastes like orange candy mixed with a cream soda
Palate: Super carbonated (insert broken record-like comment about this being soda-like here), light body, fizzy, did I mention the carbonation?
Overall Impression: Wow is this a strange brew. Hard to even call this a beer. Strange and unusual. Super carbonated. Super sweet. Alcoholic soda. I’m torn on this one, I actually thought it was pretty interesting, and I want to give it decent marks, but at the same time, it’s hardly beer. I certainly wouldn’t want to drink this on a regular basis, but if you are in the mood for something unusual, sweet, and soda-like instead of a beer, this one might do the trick.

despite its reputation for a great pumpkin beer, this brewer puts forth an extremely disappointing representation of a cream ale. the ordeal begins with a quick pour, leaving a small white rapidly disappating head and an aroma like a saccharine citrus cough drop. thin texture, with a flavor much like drinking a citronella candle. palate was garishly effervescent, like a cheap ginger ale, cloying in the back of the throat. to be avoided at all costs - and it ain’t cheap...

(bottle). Clear gold color. Spare white head which completely diminishes. "Fake" orange aroma (similar to gum or cleaner). Sweet orange cream soda-like taste. Short duration. Thin texture. Fizzy carbonation. No lacing.

Bottle same as image. Tons of orange tic tac flavor which I’ve only seen mimicked by Old Burnside Penny Weiz. Better than expected.
