| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Dec 16, 2005 Pours a hazy orange yellow color. Sweet aromas of orange and flowers. Flavor is way to orange for me, I’m not big on fruit beers, and this one is not good. Tastes like a funky orange crush. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Nov 7, 2005 12 ounce bottle from the Woodmans on Gammon Road, Madison WI. Cidery-syrupy amber appearance, fairly full lasting just off-white head...aroma is Tang, just Tang, no point in trying to go for anything else...slightly more interest in the body, touch of sour/tart OJ, light hints of malt, a bit of soggy graininess late...reasonably sturdy palate, and low to moderate carbonation which unfortunately helps to generate a bit of syrupy slipperiness. Not really good. Dough77 (777), Aurora, Illinois, USA

Aroma of course big on orange as well as its peel. Very sweet, goes down ok, hints of malt and honey. thelandstander (46), Davis, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 3, 2005 Updated: Nov 4, 2005This ale came with a 10 pack of "Summer Brews" but when I found out it was by the same brewer that made Pumpkin Ale I was more than a little concerned. This ale, though, isn’t that bad. The ale is an amber-orange color with a medium head. Small, orange flecks settled to the bottom of my glass, so that was sort of a putoff. You get the faint smell of oranges as you sip it and the flavor is more mellow than their pumpkin ale. Not a bad beer for summer. JFGrind (1354), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA

Orange-y aroma, golden color (fizz not included) beer with a light bitterness that blends well with the orange and honey flavors. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 26, 2005 (12 oz bottle: Cost Plus in La Jolla, CA) I expected total swill here, but it’s actually not all that bad. It taste a lot like orange Perrier, with the orange flavor not being citrusy like eating an orange, but like the label says, orange peel and blossom. It’s both tart and very lightly sweet, and thre is barely a hint of malt and no hops that I can discern. Again, the nose is orange peel and blossom and actually smells kind of pleasant, but it just doesn’t smell like beer. Body is predictably light, but with gentle carbonation, a slight tartness and a soft palate, this is a pretty easy beer to drink. The beer is clear and bright orange and is topped by half an inch of whitish head that settles quickly to a wide ring and sprinkles. Better than expected, but I don’t think I could drink more than one andprobably wouldn’t buy this again either. slang (406), Columbia, South Carolina, USA
