Not much aroma of anything else. Taste is pretty much the same. Slight bit of hops on the finish, but that’s pretty much it. Doesn’t feel like a cream ale. The bubbles are too big. I wish it were either more crisp or more beer-ish. As it is, just too syrupy. jimmack (1221), Nutley, New Jersey, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 15, 2005 Clear amber color with a small white head. Aroma of orange soda and little else. Odd chalky orange flavor that was a bit too sweet with no other flavors standing out. Not very good. sethdude (601), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 8, 2005 I should have just gotten some orange soda. That’s really all this is. I was craving beer, and this just does not get the job done at all. Orange soda aroma, flavor, and palate. Appearance is a little more like morning piss. I’m all about experimental beers, but this is bad. O’Fallon brewery is a much better experimental brewery. Avoid this orange soda. mrkimchee (1414), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jul 6, 2005 pale orange, white head. aroma of orange popsicles and soda. flavour is like orange popsicles mixed with a litter beer. weird. BeerAteHer (384), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jun 26, 2005 Having enjoyed some great fruit-essence beers from breweries like Fraoch and New Glarus, Buffalo Bill seems amateurish but ok. Color is golden and suggestion could almost say orange. Mouthfeel is thickly-carbonated but honey-thin. Aroma is of an orange cream soda. Flavor is ... like a slightly-hopped orange crush. The main deficit is that a fruit beer should be a better _combination_ of fruity essence as well as the typical beer ingredients: hops & malt & great water. For some reason, this beer seems to lead to an immediate thirst for water. Nevertheless, a pleasant drink. BillyM (149), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 25, 2005 You can definitely smell the orange. Kind of smells and tstes like an Orange Julius. I’m surprised at the classification of a seasonal winter beer, as I have only seen it available this summer and I can only conceive of drinking it on a hot summer day. Not bad, but not really a beer either. Light and refreshing. My girlfriend & sister (who aren’t really into beer) both loved it. willblake (2176), Belcamp, Maryland, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 16, 2005 06.16.05 12oz bottle. Orange tinged golden pour (probably my imagination) with thin white head that fades to a lasting, lacing ring. Smells like orange PEZ, for real. Similar to orange soda, but definitely PEZ, and a bit flowery. Not really an unpleasant aroma like many fruit beers, and I think it can be tough to tell the difference between an artificial orange smell and just orange extract. Still, I’m having trouble finding a beer smell, just fruit. Flavor is the same. I really don’t taste beer but for a mild graininess on the finish. I don’t get honey at any point. Light, fizzy, tingly body doesn’t really scream ’cream ale’. I get that lip tingle from the orange oils that I get from fresh orange rinds. Why the hell is this a winter seasonal? Weird and only barely beer, but it’s entirely drinkable and I could see this being popular among non-beergeek types. Darkover (1313), Columbus, Ohio, USA
