The taste was quite sweet, with large samples of orange and cream soda in the taste. The finish was of a citrus acidity. I found this beer to be extremely satisfying and refreshing. mikeben (344), Naperville, Illinois, USA

Sure Lambics are better quaity but I tasted the fresh honey and fresh orange peel. It was a refreshing brew. Okay maybe it need a little more bite but it was a mild beer to drink on a hot day and quite original. newshound (20), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

For what it’s trying to do, this beer is freaking awesome! I rate it so high because it has orange and cream pegged. Pours a clear orange-yellow with nice bubbles. Starts with a white porous head, but loses the froth and lingers around the edge. Immediately you get aroma of oranges... the peel, the pulp. Tastes like orange juice, hints of lemon even. Creamy to the palate. As it warms, the orange expands and takes on almost floral characteristics. The best thing to do is to slice real oranges or tangerines and set a round slice on top of the beer, so that it flavors each sip. And it looks very cool. Squeeze another wedge into beer for hyper-orange taste. Very light and tasty, good for Spring/Summer, drinking a 6-pack and not being weighed down. Goodfella (60), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Smells like orange peel. To me, this beer tastes almost exactly like an Orangesicle, (probably the greatest ice cream truck vendor item available). It’s just slightly less creamy than an Orangesicle in the finish. The only way this could be more orange-y is if the color were a bright orange. I’m a fan. jbelkin (5), USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Mar 28, 2007 I find it to be a nice change of pace - like an alcohol popsicle - I like it frigid cold like a popsicle but wife likes it at room temp so that’s nice - it plays. Once I settled down: a nice ale with well-balanced fruit flavor. The "cream" aspect of it hints of lactose like a cream stout, but is very mild. A well-done flavored beer that you can have two of before needing something different. Goblincat (357), Westland, Michigan, USA

The nose is great, with lots of sugary orange. Reminds me of smalling Orange Crush. Very smooth and simple with a great orange peel finish. Not very complex, but fun to drink.
