Spicy nutmeg tasting. Very similar to pumpkin pie. Overall the appearance was disappointing. No head and a soda like carbonation. Very generic with no body. Fair at best

Bottle->Pint glass. Pour is fantastic. Cloudy, silty orange-amber, with a 3/4’’ dirty, egg-shell-colored head which dissipates too quickly. Zero lacing. Smells of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, banana and melon. Tastes of cinnamon, with a follow-up of the banana. Hops are introduced immediately after the cinnamon subsides. Nice overall maltiness with hints of cereal and fruit to balance. Clove finish. Crisp palate. Bought with the season in mind; first pumpkin beer ever. Opinion/rating may change as I experience others.

Sweet pumpkin spice in the nose, dominated by a cinnamon heart scent. Flavor is sweet fall apples and nutmeg. Metalic bitter finish. Orange in color, thin white head.

The beer that jump-started my intense hatred for pumpkin beers, a hatred that culminated in the great projectile vomiting incident of 08 involving Southern Tier’s Pumking. This beer sucks chocolate salty balls.
