| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 18, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours an ugly thin looking brown/orange with lots of large visible bubbltes rising and clinging to the glass and a smaller super fizzy off white head that quickly and totally disipates. Aroma of spoiled pumpkin, cooked vegtables and very strong artificial spices, mainly clove and nutmeg. Thin bodied with lots of aggressive carbonation and no hop bite. Flavor is about as good as the aroma would leave you to believe with most of the it dominated with artificial spices. Notihing to taste hear please move along. RunDWP (203), San Jose, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 18, 2008 Bottle. Slight aroma of pumpkin and pumpkin spices. More malty than hoppy ale with pumpkin and spices added. Interesting change of pace ale, but the pumpkin and spices clash with the ale as much as they compliment the flavor. Nice seasonal beer. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 17, 2008 pours an orange-amber with a thin head.
Aroma is sweet and bready with some pie spices (nutmeg, some clove.) and a pretty light pumpkin.
Flavour is a lot maltier than I expected. Sweet with a slight cutting bitterness. The spice is played down and there is a pumpkin quality to the finish. Delirium (499), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear dark orange with a small disappearing white head and vigorous carbonation. Aroma is spicy pumpkin, with some bread and nuts. Flavor is sweet and malty, some pumpkin but a bit less than the aroma, lots of spices, and a bit of hops. Not a bad pumpkin beer at all; reminds most strongly of pumpkin pie filling. garmonbozia (230), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Oct 13, 2008 Updated: Oct 17, 200812 ounce bottle from Total Wine. Pours a tiny head over an orange body with amber hues. The nose is spicy, bready, and nutty. Flavors include cinnamon, pumpkin loaf, hearth, veggies, grains, pepper, subtle various spices and hops, almonds, and nutmeg. Medium/high carbonation and medium body. I love interesting beers and have tried quite a few pumpkin ales; I believe this to be one of the better ones to choose from. Severly underrated.
