Only a little froth on the pour, other than that, no head at all. Smell is slight pumpkin, but lots of spice and a whole lot of lager notes. Taste is smoked pumpkin. There are some definite smoky notes that I don’t quite understand. Lots of carbonation and prickliness in the mouthfeel. Being a pumpkin beer, there are still a bunch of other pumpkin beers I’d take over this. WisconsinBeer (526), St Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 26, 2008 Bottle. Pale amber color, minimal carbonation, almost no head. Flavor is mildly sweet malt, hints of pumpkin and the usual pumpkin pie spices. A bit grainy on the palate. Pretty standard pumpkin ale here. 17thfloor (1496), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Bubblegum and Toothpaste aroma, fruity with some pumpkin and nutmeg. A very light beer with some chalky pumpkin, bubblegum, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, and very weak malt. Gritty mouthful, light bodied. drew33477 (1), Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 22, 2008 Bought in a bottle and poured into a pint glass. Pours a light amber color with little to no head. Not very much of a smell. Taste is smooth and full of spices. Strong aftertaste of cloves, which unfortunately overwhelm the pumpkin flavor. Tastes very similar to pumpkin pie. jredmond (1049), New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Sep 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber with a very strong aroma of spice. Taste is smooth and spicy. Aquilo (271), California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Pours a nice clear amber color with a medium sized head that disappears quickly. Smell is kinda interesting. At first, I could smell some hops and some pumpkin, and the two flavors clashed horribly. But as the beer warms, the hops smell is being replaced by a far more pleasant spice smell. Cinnamon and cloves. There is no flavor. Seriously. No flavor here at all. Thin and fizzy on the palate. Boring. rustychiles (1057), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 20, 2008 Pours a orangeish brown with a small off white head. Aroma of malt, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and pumpkin. Flavor is cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, a touch of pumpkin, malt. Decent attempt at a pumpkin beer, but too many spices (clove) and not enough pumpkin detract from this one for me. Still better than a lot of others in the pumpkin beer realm though. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Sep 19, 2008 Not too shabby, but not quite what I expected. Poured from a bottle, quite thin...hazy orange color. Spicy notes, and a crisp, pumpkin flavor finish.
