Spicy/cinn. nose w/ hints of pumpkin. Awful sour balsamic taste with even worse metallic finish. Very watery. This is the worst beer I have ever experienced. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 1, 2008 The aroma is pumpkin, nutmeg and a little cinnamon. The head is fully diminishing, virtually no lacing, the body is clear and copper/orange in color. The initial flavor is fizzy, not much flavor, pumpkin and nutmeg. The body is light, the texture watery and the carbonation fizzy. explosivebeer (36), Washington, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jan 31, 2008 This beer pours very little head and what’s there dissipates quickly. It is very light and refreshing with some sweetness and obviously pumpkin, but very mild doses of both and an even more subtle hint of cinnamon. It finishes clean. By itself it was underwhelming but I can imagine it would be great paired with spicy food or on a hot day. illidurit (890), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 26, 2008 Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. It’s an attractive pale orange color with a white head of 1.5 fingers. The head dissipates to nothing unnervingly quickly.
Smells like cinnamon and nutmeg and pumpkin.
Tastes like one part pumpkin pie and one part sparkling water put into a blender. Not really any beer characteristics to be found. Kind of cloying.
The body is pretty thin and the carbonation is pretty high, making it refreshing but weak.
No sir I will not have another..
I was lucky enough to be in a food-pairing mood with this beer; I had some jalapeno cheese on crackers while drinking it. The cheese’s hot spiciness complemented the nutmeg and clove characters of the beer, but I can’t imagine drinking this beer without accompaniment. Have it with Thanksgiving dinner or don’t have it at all, basically. GMCC2181 (867), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA

I came across this one. It has a great smell of nutmeg, pumpkin and cinamon. It has a amberish color and little head. It tase just as a it smells but a strong after tast of nutmeg and cinamon. I wish it had a little more pumpkin flavor and less nutmeg, but overall good pumpkin ale. Give it a try...
