| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Watery garbage. Pours reddish brown with no head at all. Smells like cinnamon and spice. Tastes like water and pumpkin pie. Too thin. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 12, 2007 Aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove with a touch of malt. Pretty light in style, I almost wish there was a bit more to this. On the palate I get a bit of malt and then follows the pumpkin. This seems like a good foundation but there could be so much more. There are better pumpkin beers out there. fattibobatti (246), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 11, 2007 overpowering herbs. they smother the pumpkin taste and smell sums this beer up. although pumpkin is present in the aroma and taste there is intense nutmeg, cinnamon, and something else. almost medicine in after taste. the pour also was disappointing, the head was thin and disappeared in seconds. poorly executed beer. beerbill (1969), Laurel, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 11, 2007 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with MrRain. Pours a cloudy amber with a moderate sudsy white head that faded to a film before I even took my first sip. Light aroma of malt, pumpkin and cinnamon. The flavor is light malt and just a hint of cinnamon. There’s a tiny bit of pumpkin flavor in the aftertaste, but that’s it. I’d have to check, but I believe this is the lowest rating I have given to a pumpkin beer this year. extremeicon (108), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 10, 2007 Either I’m just not a pumpkin beer person or this is a horrible representation of the style. Looks promising: bright orange color with a thin white head. Aroma, though, is where it all starts to go wrong - smells spicy alright, but overly and artificially so. First sip is almost gaggingly reminiscent of this medicine I remember hating as a child. It gets a bit mellower as it warms, and less offensive, but I could still never get into it. dkoonce (889), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Oct 10, 2007 Fizzy orange, with a thin head that absolutely disappears. Weird pumpkin pie aroma, with nutmeg being the major aroma. Tangy, but otherwise rather flavorless. Just as well, as I’m not much of a pumpkin pie fan. The aroma had me thinking "drain pour" Tastes more like a cider than a beer. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 9, 2007 Not impressed by this pumpkin brew, it left much to be desired. Poured a brown-orange color with zero head and zero lacing, literally nothing at all. OK, looks bad I can deal with that, so I sniff on this for a minute and the aroma is very tantalizing. Spiced pumpkin, warm apple cider, and honey. Smells rather good, makes up for the lousy appearance. Mouth feel is watery and thin, under carbonated. Flavor is enjoyable at first, but it soon shows that it lacks the punch provided in the aroma. Pumpkin is prevalent, generously spiced with cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Lots of sweet honey. Lacks any decent amount of malt content, really hurts this beer. Finishes empty and unsatisfying.
