Aroma is of spices, pumpkin, and plenty of malts. Still seems a little watery on the aroma. Flavor is pretty strong of the spices up front with a slight taste of pumpkin on the finish. Not quite as watery as the nose led on to believe but there still isn’t that much of a lingering flavor. Overall it’s not too bad. biznizness (940), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA

Well, I thought about this a lot, and decided to go with a classic that is entrenched in my beer drinking history. Suffice to say, great times were had drinking Buffalo Bill’s. Here’s to 500... and the great friends and moments that I encountered along the way. Next stop, 1,000... cowboys, LIGHT YOUR FIRES! kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Hazy, orange pour, bubbly, with a wispy, rapidly dissipating head, with very faint maltiness inthe nese, pronounced clove, allspice and apple in the taste. Finished clean. Good pumpkin ale. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 18, 2007 Pours the color of a dark pumpkin with hints of amber-copper tones. Fuzzy white head. Spicy nutmeg-cinnamon nose with a spicy, sharp flavor more indicative of pumpkin pie than actual pumpkin. As I drink this beer, it gives off a sugary, artificially sweetened flavor that is hard to swallow. I can see cooking iwth this beer, but it is a little weird. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 19, 2007 Been sitting in the fridge the whole time. Fall color pour, small white head. Pumpkin and nutmeg aroma with cinnamon and nutmeg. Obviously the same spices are in the taste and they are balanaced. Easy drinking and the spices are mellow and are at the exact right levels I would’ve even liked a little more because it just taste good. blklab2007 (968), Connecticut, USA
