Nov 14, 2006 Get a very nice pumpkin smell.Pours amber whith a white head.Has a nice pumpkin flavor.A litle thin,but a nice spice finish.One of the better pumpkin ales I’ve had.

Nov 10, 2006 12 ounce bottle. The pour leaves behind a clear orange ale with an average, fizzy, off-white head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is of pumpkin, allspice, nutmeg, and cinnamon with very subtle floral notes. The initial flavor is sweet, moreso than I would expect. It then finishes quickly with a slightly alkaline taste and feel. The body is very light and watery, much less than I normally like. It is not a bad beer, but is very quirky. Even though not a great beer, this is one of my seasonal favorites. It goes great with Thai food. The fruitiness and spices of the beer nicely complement any heat in Thai dishes. In fact, the hotter the dish the better the flavor of the Pumpkin Ale.

Nov 6, 2006 Aroma of pie spices, especially clove. Slightly hazy amber color with a quickly disappearing head. Starts with clove, hit of carbonation, finishes with clovey veggie flavor. Clove persists. Interesting. At least it is not squash.

Nov 5, 2006 Orange Amber color. Thin white head. No lacing.
Aroma, some spiciness, malt hint of pumpkin pie.
Taste. nutmeg, vanilla, cloves pumpkin pie. But not overwhelming.
Mouth-feel is surprisingly thinner than expected.
Mild aftertaste, not too bad.
This is my first pumpkin ale in a long time,
Drinkable, not too heavy, nice at a holiday meal or sitting around in the evening.

Nov 3, 2006 (Bottle) Pours a light amber with a white head. Nice pumpkin aroma, but not much pumpkin in the flavor. Nutmeg and clove notes were pretty strong, but not overpowering. Mouthfeel was a little lighter than I expected. Not a bad beer, but definitely could have been better.

Nov 3, 2006 Crystal clear and the color of... a pumpkin. Warm spicy aroma of cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and pumpkin. Spices do give the beer a nice tangy bite in the finish. Palate is more watery than expected and contributes to the antiseptic effect. The aroma and flavor beg for more chewiness in the body. A solid seasonal.

Nov 1, 2006 Bottle. Good aroma. Very strong pumpkin smell with a hint of nutmeg. Very pale look with thin head. Flavor may be a little strong at first. Got smoother as I washed it down with some food.

Oct 31, 2006 12 oz bottle via my neighbor Mike when i went trick or treating with my daughter...wouldn’t it be cool if adults could trick or treat for craft beer, lol? Well at least i can at my favorite neighbor’s house. Pours a clear copper and smells like pumkin and cinnamon with a carbonated fixxy pumkin finish. Not much else going on, maybe a bit of allspice and caramel malts and corn under the pumpkin and heavy carbonation....
