Oct 17, 2006 light amber with a small disappearing white head. big pumpkin pie spice aroma with a hint of pumpkin. flavor sweet malty pumpkin with a hint of spice. spice really kicks in on the finish. light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. this would be my favorite pumpkin ale available in this area.

Oct 16, 2006 12oz. Bottle: Aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg, and a little malt. Nice scent. Poured dark amber/orange in color with small, off-white head that diminished very quickly. Hazy and sparkling. Tastes of pumpkin, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon. A little musty initially, but nice spice finish. Lots of clove. Light body. Thin, watery texture. Soft carbonation. Overall, not that good. Tastes like a pumpkin cider rather than a beer.

Oct 16, 2006 Aroma of pumpkin spices with a slight yeastiness. Body is a bit watery with a strong spice finish. Flavor is thin with a slight cinnamon bite and a lack of any discernable pumpkin.

Oct 15, 2006 Bottle. copper colored, very little head. Aroma is of spice, clove, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg. Not much hop aroma. Not a bad tasting ale, malty, just enough pumpkin flavor, and very little hop presence. More spice flavor than anything. Worth trying.

Oct 12, 2006 12 oz bottle. Pretty beer - crystal clear orange/amber with a big, fluffy white head that reduces quickly to a 1/8" veil that never leaves. Lots of bubbles in this one! Spicy nose (allspice), pumpkin, sweet malt. Somewhat short in the body department - thin, watery, lively bubbly mouthfeel - kinda like selzer water. Decent spice and flavor that match the nose, trailing allspice finish. Fair.

Oct 12, 2006 so it might not be very hoppy or even carbonated but the spicy aroma and the overall flavor work for what its trying to do. i just needed some whipped cream to top it off, would buy again.
