| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 20, 2006 bottle - Pours dark amber with a moderate head. It has a pronounced spice aroma. The flavor has the pumpkin notes as expected, along with lots of spices. This is a really spicey beer. It’s good that way though. It’s a little thin, maybe slightly out of balance, but still good. holdenn (1454), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 8, 2006 Updated: Oct 2, 2006Pours a dark amber color with a nice white head. The aromas come out as pumpkin pie, from a can. Fake pumpkin pie aroma, it’s nearly identical. Flavors and mouthfeel are rather light compared to the aroma. A light pumpkin ale flavor dominates but the cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg come lightly through. Kiapepito (111), Port Angeles, Washington, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 22, 2006 This beer pours an amber-orange colour with no head. Tons of Malt, and there is a hair in it probably mine, and a hint of Pumkin. Nice lite mouthfeel with spices evident in the Flavour. There is definitely a Pumpin after flavor in the finish. A very nice concoction from the boys at BBB. Kudos. eaglefan538 (2405), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 31, 2006 Updated: Aug 31, 2006After trying again in ’06, I’ve pretty much written this one off, way too much spicing and cinnamon, man has this fallen a long way from where it was on ’04. Spice water. The pumpkin is certainly present, yet the spices were strongly done and more pronounced over a malty base. Definitely spiced (cinnamon was the strongest, maybe too strong) and even hopped with a dry finish to keep this one from being too sweet. Poured a nice clear orange-amber color with a generous initial head that subsided quickly, but provided minimal lacing. Had a pleasant aroma of spices and pumpkin and a light, dry, and carbonated mouthfeel. Sure, the purists will knock this for being over the top, but if you’re looking for a good pumpkin ale, this one is pretty good, but perhaps maybe too much cinnamon. Delicious. The ratings are averaged over the last two year’s of production. ’05 was definitely not as good as the ’04. illinismitty (1809), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 30, 2006 Pours pale amber with white head. Pumpkin and cinnamon aroma. Flavor of sweet caramel malt and strong nutmeg and pumpkin spices. For what this is, its pretty decent. Not a huge or full bodied beer, but this works when you are drinking this as a compliment to a rich dessert. One of the better pumpkin beers I have had as far as pronounced pumpkin spice goes. But then again, I have not had many either
