| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 22, 2005 Pours a light golden amber color. Aromas of pumpkin, clove, ginger, nutmeg. Smelled like pumpkin pie in a bottle, and I hate pumpkin pie. Tastes just like it smells, way to fruity and holiday spicey for me. If you like pumpkin pie, you’ll love this beer. Just not for me. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 17, 2005 Originally brewed by George Washington huh? I never knew that. From a bottle. Pours a clear orange sort of color with very little head. Spices are noticeable in the aroma but I get more of an actual pumpkin aroma from this than I do from a lot of these type of brews. Flavor has plenty of pumpkin in it and the spices come out more as it warms. I get mostly cinnamon, some nutmeg, and very little clove. Nothing too exciting here but I like pumpkin beers and this is rather non-offensive. badnewsbeers (1026), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 12, 2005 an alright orangish pumpkin appearance and looked like watered down tea....aroma is nice, and contains notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and pumpkin....flavor is lacking, and is of watery nutmeg and pumpkin...okay palate, but barely an okay seasonal beer Zinister (1201), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 10, 2005 Pours light amber with little head. Nose of pumpkin, nutmeg, cloves and allspice. Taste is serious pumpkin and nutmeg, mixed with cloves...there’s a little bit of hops in there. Not bad for 1/2 a bottle, but then the overwhleming pumpkin taste gets a little old....like drinking a pumpkin pie. One beer a night is enough of this stuff. beerledgend (919), Meadowbank Auckland, New Zealand
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 4/5 | 7/20 | Dec 6, 2005 Suppose I,m not use to pumpkin beer, first for everything. Dark red in colour with small white head which disapated quickly. Aroma of cloves and cinimon. Unusal taste, now I know why I do not like pumpkin!!! | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 4, 2005 strong clove and spice aroma, and a strong clove flavor, not complex but strong, which creates some character, but seems like a really lite brew with a lot of flavor added, different than most pumpkin ales, worth a try pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 29, 2005 Bottle: Wow, the pumpkin spice aromas definitely dominate the scene while the taste is similar. Although it wasn’t as bad as the last pumpkin ale I tried, it was too much like drinking a glass of pumpkin spice potpourri! The color is a clear copper with a fizzy off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly. The feel is thin with average carbonation. One good thing about it is that it does leave a pleasant, sweet aftertaste afterwards. Uriel (144), San Jose, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 29, 2005 Spicy, clove and sweet aromas. Very clear. Nutmeg and clove flavors predominate, with mild pumpkin flavor. Nicely malty.
