Pours a hazy orange. Creamy head quickly dissipates to nothing. Love the color, not the head.
Aroma of autumn spices. Clove, nutmeg, slight pumpkin, its all there. Citrus fruit. Very strong spice aroma.
Very sweet spice flavor. Clove definitely, nutmeg too. Where is that pumpkin hiding? Perhaps at warmer temps?
Light mouthfeel, medium carbonation. It actually does leave me wanting another drink, gulp even. Very refreshing.
Overall. I really liked this. I mean, there’s not too much malt or hops, but it is still an interesting beer. golubj (1289), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Flavor is the same, not so much like pumpkin, but actually pumpkin pie. Pretty good, but I thought it would get worse as I drank it. alexanderj (2269), Chino Hills, California, USA

Aroma of spice, caramel and vanilla. Very true to the style in terms of aroma and flavor. Flavor of spice, gingerbread, vanilla and pumpkin. Really top notch for the style. Darn good as I would say. ironchefscott (342), portland, Oregon, USA

BBPA pours tangerine-colored with a medium-sized head that leaves no real lacing. The aroma consists of sweet citrus fruits but not too much pumpkin. The aroma has no indication of hops. It actually smells refreshing. The flavor comes across as highly carbonated. A tangerine or orange flavor is more noticeable than pumpkin. The body is light without being watery. The finish is quick and thirst-quenching. If it is not obvious, I do not see this as a pumpkin ale so much as a citrus ale. It is not like a wit beer though. It is too flat to be a wit. rader58 (183), Leawood, Kansas, USA

Slightly bitter flavor with cinnamon and ever slight pumpkin. Watery to dry palate. Good for fall, but no more than one at a time. Taverner (861), San Ramon, California, USA

The pumpkin is a little syrupy sweet, its good but possible a bit contrived there are spices aplenty, a real spicy nose and a real autumnal feel to it, its fine but just too, too spicy.
