Arrived a murky, copper color with a thin white head atop it. Aroma has a smooth Maris Otter malty note with a light floral and citrusy hop note. Flavor has a very strong toasted malt note, light grassy hops bite with subtle citrus and a light leafy hops bitter bite at the very end. Medium body, a smooth slightly oily texture with some very fine, low carbonation that leaves great lacing. Overall the strong toastedness of the brew really works and makes it really enjoyable brew.

14oz draft in a tumbler. This beer pours orangish-copper colored with a thin head. The aroma is very subtle & consists of nice grains & a touch of sweet flowers like honeysuckle. The body is medium in thickness. The flaver is grainy with touches of musk mellon. The beer is a little bland but nice enough.

Tasted 1/2/09. Draft from the brew pub. Hazy with a fading amber golden hue. Lacing, off-whitehead. Mildly soapy hoppy aromas. Medium bodied with soft carbonation and slight bitterness. Sugary undertone. Smooth and easy, but I felt it could use a little more punch. Still, a solid brew!

Pours hazy cloudy amber with a soapy off-white head. The aroma is fruity with toasted malt and light tropical fruit hops. Medium / full body that is smooth with great carbonation that is minimal. The flavor starts with lots of nectar-like fruits, tropical-eque hops, toasted malt and a richness that isn’t very sweet. The finish has gentle tropical hops and a nectarine fruitiness. The hops take on a spicier traits as the beer warms. Very nice easy-drinking beer.
