thehipone (197), Australia Dec 26, 2004 I think this is one of the beers for the masses at the tap room. It is not a rich in flavor as you might expect from an amber ale. It is lightly carbonated with a thin white head. There is a light malty, nutty aroma. The taste is balanced towards malty sweet and the amber has very low bitterness. Another beer where nothing is wrong with it, it tastes good, just nothing to make it stand above the rest. BuckNaked (1195), Tempe, Arizona, USA Jun 2, 2004 Tap: Got a growler of this over the weekend. Pours to a light amber brown with a small tan head. Aroma: malt, nut, slightest hint of bitter hops. I’ve tasted better amber ales though. There’s some nice malt taste, maybe a little bitterness as well but just does not have very pronounced flavors. Light body and easy carbonation make this easy to drink. Seems to be a standard Amber Ale, lacking some aroma and flavor almost as if it’s watered down.
