| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 10, 2006 Bottle. Orange, muddy body. Rocky to creamy, off-white head. Just a brilliant appearance. Aroma of hops, orange. (Quite weak) Lightly bitter initial flavour. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet finish. Very, very lovely beer. Probably the best Proef-bier I’ve ever had so far. Good balance. Off course not great (since it’s Proef), but this is a good tripel. Indeed, I’d rather call this tripel than dubbel. Bov (5478), Bienne, Switzerland

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 2, 2008 Bottle, 8.5%. The aroma starts bready, turning hoppy and citric. Sparkling, hazy copper colour with floaties. Nice lacy white head. The flavour starts with metal and some white bread. Then it turns more malty with some pepper/alcohol flavour in good balance with a little vegetable and an uncompromising bitterness. There is a good underlying fruity hoppiness. After a few sips, the unpleasant notes are gone, leaving a harmonious beer in good balance. On the malty side with a good alcohol level and some hoppiness. Creamy mouthfeel. blutt59 (2147), Dallas, Texas, USA

(it’s Apr 07 now) Light amber with a fine cloudiness and a rich, persistent, white froth. Aroma of honey, hay, flowers, spice. Sweet, full, round taste with a fair hint of fruit candies - apricot (let’s try our luck). A gentle peppery aftertaste. Syrupy, sticky. It’s a long time ago I tasted their Bloemenbier...?
