Aroma of sweet grainy pale German malt and a touch of noble hops. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 22, 2007 yeah, i can see where that name came from looking at this. red copper body a nice gray white head that does not last. malty grain and candy caramel nose. wow, this is heavy , really sticky sweet, it gets easier once i’ve adjusted, but i did not really expect this. a bit of a burnt flower hop taste lingers through this. grainy, this is a hard one to plow through at moments, but, hell, i’ve just got another few miles to get home on the pedal pusher, not one that is really doing anything for me. at least the hefe is on tap.
