Draft. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of nuts. The flavor is pretty much like the aroma with a dry finish.

(draught) Dark-deep brown, no head. Nose of molasses, bit nutty - and I get some parsley again. There's hops there too. Taste is soft-sweet, nearly neutral taste. OK for a brown ale or a mild, but not exhilarating. Well-bodied, not thick. some sticky mouthfeel (molasses again?). Brown ale is not really my style, I suppose. This one is not really bad, but I can't go wacko over it.

Draught. Body is dark brown. Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, dark chocolate, mild coffee). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Roastier and darker than most American brown ales.

Tap @ the Brewpub. Poured a clear copper-brown color with an off-white head. Chocolate and caramel aroma. The flavor was toasty with some chocolate. Light bodied. A little thin.

On draft at Falling Rock Taphouse, Denver, 4/15/06: Reddish-brown with little aroma but a yummy malt-ball flavor. Nice and smooth. Excellent.

On tap @ Falling Rock poured a clear reddish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of sweet toasted malt, cocoa, carmel and toffee. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of toasted malt, light cocoa and a hint of nuttiness with a smooth malty finish.
