tap at the brewpub. med. brown body with a lasting sticky head that leaves a cobweb of lacing down the glass. very buttery, i had a hard time getting past all the diacetyl. tastes like a grape soda without the grape flavor, sweet, caramel, light chocolate, and a cookie dough note. smokey flavor emerges as it warms. really one that i’d have been better served letting warm more.

Draught at brewery. Pours clear brown with an average fizzy light brown head, mostly diminishing, spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (cookie, caramel, toffee), light hops (grass), average yeast (dough, earth) with notes of dates and toffee. Medium bodied, creamy texture, flat carbonation and a bitter finish. Average duration, heavy sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

Super-sweet nose (caramel, frosting, sugar). Very sweet malt flavors. Tasted like Sugar Daddies and maple syrup. Light, flowery/herbal hop flavors, though subdued. Not very bitter at all. Tasted like sugar water with some gentle orange notes.
