tap at the brewpub. long day at work. unwilling to face my apartment, i take a nice stroll to the bull and bush. order the hefe, not expecting much. hazed yellow pur with a decent head that gets destroyed by the cursed lemon. this does not need a lemon damnit, there is a nice citrus in the nose, some notes of pear too, very clean nose overall. quenching and hits the spot, more citrus notes and fruits are in the flavor. the banana note i expected is perfect. a well made enjoyable beer. the fruit notes linger and my thirst is satisfied. i’m going to drink a lot more of this one.

This hefe was golden and hazy like most are with a white head. The aroma was like banana-bubblegum. The taste had a little clove, more banana and bubblegum and was delicious.I was really impressed by this beer and I am not a fan of Hefeweizens. Good stuff. On tap @ Bull & Bush poured a hazy golden yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of banana, citrus, clove and a hint of bubblegum. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, lemon, banana, light clove and a hint of bubblegum with acrisp lingering fruity finish.

Cloudy, opaque, light yellow; thin white head with intricate, lasting Brussels lace. Bouquet of clove and banana in the nose. Nice mouthfeel: smooth and thickish on the tongue, mild carbonation. Sweet bubblegum notes throughout. Very mild bitterness in the finish with a carbon dioxide bite. Well balanced and rather enjoyable. Clean, rewarding aftertaste. Good beer.

Strong yeasty aroma, full of rich banana puree. The flavor profile is creamy and well textured, with some spicy clove and fruity bubblegum.
