Yellow color that was a perfectly clear golden and the expected white head head and fizzy carbonation. It also had the most wonderful fruity aroma. The taste really shocked me, fruity with dusty, earthy hop tones. This was an excellent pils and the Bull and Bush has really been impressive to me as of late. Sampler at the Bull & Bush Pub & Brewery, Denver 11/10/2007 Some carbonation. Clear golden coloured hoppy floral and citrus with a crisp and creamy slightly dry finish.

tap at the brewpub. good clear yellow color. smells of wet pavement and butter, and this is actually a good thing(not the butter part though). herbal hop flavor greet me at first, with a little more buttery diacetyl fun. a bit of sulphur, but overall not that bad, i’ve had many pilsners that were worse.

On tap @ Bull and Bush poured a clear pale yellow with a small diminishing white head. Aromas of Straw, light fruittiness and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw,light fruittiness and light spice with a crisp lightly bitter finish.

I think the Hops are happy cuz they did’nt get boiled in this beer.

On tap. Pours gold, quite clear, with a small white head. Smells doughy, with hints at crackers, wood, and corn. It’s a pretty light beer, medium dry. I could use more hops on this one, but pilseners aren’t really my favorite style anyway. Hints at apples, wood chips, crackers, cereal are in the flavor. It’s a crisp and reasonable pils.

tap. light golden with thin head. grassy, straw, grain and lemon aroma. light and crisp. a bitt too light. nice sourness throughout.

Tap at the brewpub - really light and clear (in the dim light of the pub, it’s hard not to think you’ve been given seltzer at first - a fairly bland pils that disappoints further by not being refreshing, thanks to a buttery diacetyl character - some crisp bitterness tries really hard to get your mind off of it, but eventually gives up the fight - not much going on here at all.
