arrogantb (695), Denver, Colorado, USA Sep 4, 2009 A friend bought a growler of this from Bull and Bush and I had about a half a pint since I have never had a Maibock before. It was orange in color with some haze. The smell was faint and earthy. The taste reminded me of an Oktoberfest beer very much. It had the "lager taste" as I call it which means I detect the same flavor in many lagers. I am just not experienced enough to associate that taste with another flavor. lagers seem to have a really clean flavor This beer was really drinkable and one that I would probably purchase if B&B’s IPA’s weren’t so damned good. It is really hard for me to pick something at Bull and Bush that is new when I see Man beer and Justice on the wall.

Kevin (1917), Colorado, USA May 17, 2007 listed as "don’t mock mai bock" golden pour with a big white head. sweet nowse that reminded me a lot of cairo syrup(yeah, i know i’ve used this one a few times, but fuck you, it seems appropriate) with a straw scent. yep, it’s a sweet one. really syrupy mouthfeel. strong sugar flavor, a lot of sugar without the husky grain note i anticipated. the alcohol. bites nmoore than it should, a bit of mean booze in my opinion, makes me wonder whaT woud happen to the poor soul that drank 3 or 4 in an evening. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jul 17, 2006 Sweet and roasty malt aroma. Bosy is lighter than I expected with a strong flavor of cooked grains, some boiled vegetal things going on as well. Light but pleasing caramel sweetness, fruity.
