Brown pour w/ a small tan head. Smells of stank and cardboard hints of bad rotten hop. A fairly avg pal... fairly well coated. Stuff is just nasty like their IIPA but w/ less ass maybe. ratman197 (3270), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Clear, deep golden body with a large bubbled, white head that recedes to thin ring. Citrus hops are up front in the flavour also with some floral notes and moderately strong bitterness. Sweetness and fruity esters are more apparent in the aftertaste. Light body with fairly strong, aggressive carbonation. Sampled at GABF 2005. ChristianSA (368), Copenhagen, Denmark

Very flavor full with some caramel and a looong bitterness. Slightly oxidized, as cask ales sometimes are, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
Syrupy mouth feel and perfect low carbonation. After a half pint, the bitterness is almost burning. Excellent! A bit fruity and more than a bit hoppy... it was good enough for me to not even bother sampling others. It probably helped that I was there with a local who agreed that the Man Beer was the only way to go. jmcguire1969 (149), Lafayette, Colorado, USA
