On cask at Falling Rock. Reddish brown with a fantastic head. Aroma is all hops of the grapefruit vein. The body is so creamy and thick. Malts are noticeable if you can get through the grapefruit. Impressive.

On cask at the Falling Rock Tap House. Pours amber with a bubbly head. Aroma of... butter. Some C-hops, but mostly diacetyl. Served at the proper temp! YEAH! About goddamn time I get a properly served cask ale that hasen’t been sitting on line for 2 weeks. Med. heavy body. Grassy and grapefruity hoppiness with just a huge wallop of diacetyl. Hard to get past that. Bitter but not too dry finish.

Had this on cask. Clear amber color, thin white head. Big, assertive hop flavor, intense grapefruit and dandelion. Finishes with some alcohol burn but that may be the hops. Not much malt character, just caramelly sweetness. Oddly soapy aroma. A good IPA, just a little one-dimensional.

Copper. Unbelieveably aromatic with scents of lemons, grapefruit, pineapple, pine and wood. Characterful, but subtle in all ways and this is certainly lacking depth and body. Notes of aged dried hop pellets, grass and lemon. The malt backbone is fairly sweet.

This beer was a suprise. The aroma was quite hoppy and smelled as if it would be not balanced to my tastes...but I was prooved wrong with the first taste. Some how the olfactory senses were overshadowed (maybe I had a cold) by and incrediblly well balanced choclatly maltiness. The balance was nutty and memorable. I’d order another one...and did.

GABF & Falling Rock. Small world of difference in the harsher taste at fest vs the mellowing of cask at Rock. Agree that this one separates itself from of the handful of others that I've had at B&B. Not that all were bad, but enjoyed the up-front bitter in the hops. Quite an attack. Even after a run through the fest offerings this one stood out. Much better to have a taste later at FR and see a bit more in a pint. It did seem thinner than previous taste, but I suppose that's what casking can do. Certainly altered the brutal hop attack. Not the best IPA, perhaps more entertained by B&B wigs and humor.

(cask/ Man IPA) Dull amber-orange, slight haze; yellowish, quite reasonable head. Flowery nose, hoppy, bread dough. Spice-flavoured bread, notes of ginger, plenty of (British) hops, orangezest, nearly tart. Medium bodied, long peppery aftertaste. A relief from the other super-dull B&B beers tasted.

Cask conditioned at the Falling Rock, Denver. Hoppy, bitter aroma. Coloration is golden copper. Taste is slightly floral up front with a stong hoppy finish. Average mouthfeel.
