Kevin (1917), Colorado, USA Jun 23, 2009 damn, iremember when i had this beer, and i’m just getting the notes put in. lumpy will be drinking beer before my backlog is gone. extremely hazed and murky cola color with almost no head, just an island of film on top. strong whiskey nose with some anise like pepper. thick milkshake like mouthfeel that lets me know there was not a light hand with the rye. flavor is strawberry, booze, and some pepperry notes. bubblegum, mellon, berry, and booze. onesidedly sweet.

Flavor is the same with a bit of whiskey. ratman197 (3139), Arvada, Colorado, USA Nov 28, 2008 On tap poured a cloudy brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of rye, wood, spice, vanilla and light carmel. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of rye, oak, vanilla, spice and a hint of carmel with a smooth warming lingering rye whiskey finish.
