| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2007 On tap at the brewpub on 10/12/07: Transparent bright copper with a nicely-lacing wispy white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt and fresh grapefruity hops. Body starts with a light caramel malty sweetness and good citrusy bittering hops, but a little weak in the flavor although quite drinkable. A decent barleywine, but perhaps a little over-attenuated. Kevin (1918), Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 12, 2007 06 vintage, on tap 3-07 at the brewpub. dark amber pour, clingy orangish head. strawberry & light hint of cocoa nose. very sweet flavor, reminded me a lot of the strong ale with berry notes everywhere. light banana notes, not as buttery as some of the other brews from here. almost no hop presence i can taste in this, but it is a year old i guess.
