Commercial Description:
Typical Irish style, it is black and thick from a great amount of toasted malta, likewise it uses generous amounts of hops to balance the body and the alcohol. Also nitrogen is used so that it is creamier.

Coloração preta, com espuma bege escura volumosa e de longa duração. O aroma não de desprende com facilidade. Notas de malte torrado e café, com forte amargor. Na verdade, eu a achei amarga até demais, prejudicando o conjunto e a drinkability. Final torrado.

Pour opaque dark brown. Nice roasted malts with coffee overtones and a dry finish. This really surprised me, a very solid stout.

Draught at Buller Brewing. A black beer with a beige nitrogen head. Aroma is roasted and coffee. Taste is roasted malt. Dry end. Nice mouthfeel.A simple but honest beer

on tap-pours a retaining thin creamy light brown head that laces and black color with red tint. Aroma is dark malt, roasty/peat, slight astringent. Taste is dark malt-chocolate/coffee/licorice, roasty/peat, slight astringent from faint hops. Smooth. Not my style but nice.

Tap at brewpub in Buenos Aires. Black color with a thick brown head. Rich and malty, chocolate, roasted malts with a smooth long finish. Light on the palate but complex and rich.

Recoleta location. A charred burgundy shade rests beneath a dense oak brown body. Nitro foam. Rich dark roast and hot chocolate tones in the nose. Vinous qualities of taste, bitter in a coffee fashion with some heavy cream qualities. Palate is uncarbonated and slightly thin, but pleasantly silky. With an adventuresome spirit this could become something, while currently it lacks slightly in character.

Draught at the brewpub. Dark reddish brown, creamy head. Resiny coffee aroma. Medium dry with corase mouthfeel. Clumsy flavour of aniseed and licorice, resiny finish. Lacking finesse and character.

Draft: bitter burnt coffee taste, a bit watery, alcohol not dominant. huge creamy, heavy head lasts all the way down the glass and longer.
