pivo (2488), Germany Jul 14, 2007 Cherry-like fruity nose, deep chesnut color, low head with a fizzy efforvescence. Dark fruit sweetness, tart end--not so powerful, but nice. Drying effect at the end. Flat and watery texture, but a very good balance otherwise.

Comments: One of the most expensive French beers according to Jacob, at 7,5Euros. It’s a very vinous, yet not woody, fruity ale with apple, kiwi, grapes, oranges and generally fruit salad flavours. Tart, but not really dry. Idiosyncratic, but not as good as it could have been following more axes.
Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 17, 2007 Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin rim of beige head. The aroma is sweet acidic and metallic combined with oxydized notes and over ripe fruit. The flavor is sweet and rather acidic with notes of over ripe fruit and metal, leading to a dry bitter, metallic, and woody finish. The body is watery thin. gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 3, 2007 Bottle. (THX to Papsoe) . Golden brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is acid, sour, rasberry. Flavour is sour, rasberry, citrus. Papsoe (10510), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 1, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Pours a hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly tart, berry-like nose. Medium body with tart, fruity accents - actually some Brett i believe. Dry and lightly sour finish. A nice surprise. 100507
