Jun 29, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Aroma is a moist, chewy grain sugar, minimal. Pours a mostly clear red-brown with a thin rim of white. Flavor is really heavy on raw grain flavor, wet. Sugars are a touch forward and balanced only by a biting metallic sensation. The malt character runs deep, but it’s not anything to get excited about.

Jun 19, 2008 sharp aroma and a bit of metalic malt. On cask but well over feller temp it was like soup. A bit of lacing. Around avrage if not below.

Jun 13, 2008 Draft @ Bullfrog. Pours a clear, bright reddish amber color; creamy off-white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Chewy aroma showing red fruits, wet malts, and sugar. Medium mouthfeel: bready malts, red fruits, and a touch of citrus; somewhat lightly carbonated; a bit light overall, but clear expression of malts and nothing watery. Medium finish: breadiness and a touch of caramel; ends dry.
