Commercial Description:
Starting with a beautiful aroma of apricots, this beer is fruity, crisp and naturally cloudy from the wheat. The finish is dry with a lingering flavor of apricots and malted wheat that will leave you asking for more.

Golden and cloudy wheat beer with fresh mixed-in apricot. Incredibly refreshing and tasty anytime brew. Lingering apricot aftertaste. Can stick with this all day. Crisp like a chardonnay.

Draft, at Bullfrog Brewpub on 7/5/09. Pours a clear copper color, topped with a small white head. Aroma is a bit subdued, wheat is the highlight, but there are some hints of real apricot in the background. Wheat is the dominant flavor as well, but the apricot is a little more evident than in the aroma. There are notes of grain, a little earth, and white pepper in the background. Finish was a tad astringent. Better than I expected.

Draught at the brewery. Creamy texture, crisp and light up front, then more syrupy and slightly sour in the back. Very good real apricot flavor, rind-like and slightly sour, with a fresh and muddy wheat flavor. Appearance is slightly cloudy, light orange in color with a frothy white head. Creamy wheat and apricot fruit aromas, very well made overall. I enjoyed this one on my visit, but considering how low the other scores are, I may have been suffering from palate fatigue.

I was a bit impressed by this beer so I decided to rate it out of the sampler at the brewpub. Usually fruit wheat beers suck a lot but this was rather well done, at least the aroma, which was all natural fuzzy apricot skins. If you could smell fuzzy fruit this would be it. Doesn’t smell artificial or cheap. But with the flavor there is only so much one could do and it comes off as an overly clean and uninteresting wheat beer with some fruit ascents. Its pretty to look at as well, a thick wall of glowing golden that one cannot see through.

Nice looking beer. Aroma of peach skin and apricot. Taste is sweet and dry with peach and apricot. Semi tart with some mellow spice.

Draft at the brewpub. Muddy amber color. Huge head; the bartender poured it in a pitcher to save time drawing it out. Ultra fresh apricots, citrus (lemons) and floral hops. Wheat tartness. Hops weren’t as pronounced as I’d hoped.(the name on the blackboard was Aprihop) But A good fresh fruit beer.

Tap. Aroma of luscious apricot jam, both tart and sweet. Flavor weaker, just a standard wheaty apricot character, reduced tartness. Felt a bit watery at first, but body then seemed fine, just sometimes lacking in the flavor department. Still, pretty good, especially with that aroma.
