Miver (470), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 18, 2008 Draft at brewpub. Poured cloudy golden orange in color with a small white head. Aroma of honey, saison yeast, fruity esters, sweet with some mild spices. Tastes of honey, cloves, yeast, bread, and pepper. Nice saison overall.
CapnJazz (20), Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 6, 2008 Had it on tap at the brewpub. Wild nose, sweet, floral, and pleasant. Pretty herbal flavor, slightly bitter, floral and yeasty. Very balanced and enjoyable. The aroma was some citrus and yeast. The flavor was really smooth with hints of citrus, hops and finishing with a nice honey flavor. Overall, an excellent ’different’ beer. Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium creamy/bubbly white head that laced. Aroma of honey, lemon, grassy, breast malt, great floral notes, Saison yeast ester spicy notes. Flavor of honey, saison and Belgian yeast esters, peppery notes, floral, nice citrus notes and a dry finish. egajdzis (3086), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 4, 2008 [Draft @ Capones] Poured a hazy orange amber color with a small white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of honey, earthy yeast, light citrus, and floral. Taste of toffee malts, yeast, citrus, light spices, and a semi-dry finish.
