Commercial Description:
A Belgian-inspired Wheat Beer. Spiced with coriander, orange peel and chamomile flowers. Raw wheat berries and oats are also used. The yeast imparts a spicy citrus flavor to this very refreshing and somewhat tart ale.

From growler. Nice Belgian aroma, coriander and bubblegum powder. Beemans. Good mild orangy citrus aroma and sweet aromatic malty hints. Light sugars. Light dull amber-yellow liquid, a bit hazy. Thin foamy lacing head. Medium watery body with light-medium carbonation, though it had travelled. Starts with a nice Belgian ale taste. Musty with bubblegum power, Beemans. Some estery floralness. Bit of a reminder of a saison, not a lot of wheat. Good sweetness throughout with a light citrus-orange taste. Very mild bitterness at teh end with just a bit of carbonic tang. Grassy herbal notes in the after, too. Nice ale.

A nice clean crisp and extremely drinkable wit. Maybe it was jsut such a greta palate cleanser at the time but I loved this. Balanced sweetness and spice. Great.

Bottle. Pours an orange golden body with a fluffy white 3 finger head. Wheat, citrus, light spices. Light sweet with an intertwined spiciness, honey. Nice herbal citrus accents. Nice bee honey body. Exceptional for a wit. Nice spiced honey nectar. This grew on me to the last sip.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a milky yelllow with a medium bubbly head that laced. Aroma was what you would expect of a nice fresh Wit, the spicy notes, lemon, orange and tart wheat. Flavor of lemon, tart wheat, coriander, orange, cereal grains. Well done, herbal and spicy.

Bottle via PUB’n and a secondary trade with Capone’s. Pours hazy medium gold with 3-finher, huge fluffy white head. Nose is limey citrus, clovey spice, hopcitrus, mild yeasty funk. Tastes hopcitric, with emphasis on lime, funky, floral, spicy. Medium palate, and gets more bready, spicy, and hoppy with each repour. Nice complexity.

750ml caged and corked bottle (that cork was a pain to get out!). Poured a lighter and hazy straw color with a larger sized white head. Aromas of wheat, citrus, grassy, cereal grains, coriander, and other spices. Tastes of citrus, the same graininess, wheatiness, spices, and had a lighter sweetness to it (honey?).

Light yellow. Nose is very, very spicy, very zippy. Flavor is candylike and clovey, some yeast.

On tap July 2008: Pours a clear pale golden with a stringy-lacing wispy white head. Aroma of freshly crushed coriander and orange zest with a touch of mild wheaty sweetness. Body starts about average for the style with a refreshing light sweetness and good balance of spice toward the smooth finish. Very drinkable and authentic.
