Commercial Description:
A Koelsch style all malt beer. This lightly colored ale has a delicate floral aroma and flavor reminiscent of Williamsport's first breweries. This beer is clean and crisp with just a touch of lingering sweetness leading to a dry balanced finish.

Draft at BF. Pours a pale golden body with a white lacing. Light malt aroma, sweet with a mild dry finish. Lightly bitter with an hint of spritz pepper, and carbonation that bites at your tongue. A bit vegetative as well. eh.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale golden, with no head. Aroma is disconcerting, with some strongly bitter and biting acidic overtones. Flavor is disgusting. There’s DMS, infection, and over-sparging. Thin, astringent, biting. Palate washes away quickly. I can’t even drink this. Drain pour. Ugh, unfortunate.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours pale gold with thin white head. The aroma is sweet and a little bit grainy with some lemon notes and cotton candy. The flavor is light and fruity with some graininess and a little bit of papery hops. Some lemon notes come and go. Decent enough for what it is.

Pale yellow in the glass with no clouding. Looks crisp and refreshing. Cool and refreshing, with the pilsner malts and slight bitter predominating. Very refreshing and crisp

Draft sample at brewpub. Pours yellow with small white head. Little nose of grainy malt. Malty with mild butter and popcorn and a crisp ending with a bit of after with mild skunk. Tasty blonde.

Pours clear pale straw color with a small fizzy white head. Nose is grainy and fruity, almost like a chardonnay. Flavor is light, slight citrus and a bit papery. Grainy too. Light and refreshing body. Very spritzy consistency. Also, had no idea this was a kolsch, but whatever it is, it is a solid beer.

Tap. Aroma of pale malts, restrained soapy/perfumy character and a touch of white grapes. Flavor quite bland, mild fruitiness, mild malt, mild bittering hops. Slightly astringent and weak body. Had no idea this was a Kolsch, which is a bad thing.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a light yellow with a small white head. Aroma of light floral hops and sweet malt. Flavor of wheat and sweet fruits with a bitter hops finish. Nice light body.
