Finally drank my bottle shared at a sour tasting this weekend. This one totally lives up to the hype. Freaking awesome! Dark amber red, nice and bright and rich. So incredibly smooth and drinkable that I just want more. Great level of sourness from the fruit. Lots of berry flavor. Not overedone at all and the little age I bet has done this some good. The right amount of wood, the right amount of bourbon and the right amount of tartness. This just has everything I want. Smooth sweet bourbon, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, vanilla and wonderful finish. Just delicious.

Bottle shared. Awesome sour aromas of blueberry and other tart fruits. Flavors were more berry with an acidic finish. Very tart. Very good.

Bottle shared by BrianK. Pours a deep violet pinkish with a nice fluffy lively head. Aroma is very powerful- intense berry, bourbon, vanilla, cream, funk, and vinous all at once. Funk is almost all out- tons of brett and lacto, with some dark cherry skin -pedio, blueberry, red wine grapes, slightly astrienget woodines, tannic, slight bourbon with vanilla and a sour almsot sharp acidic finish- awesome!

Corked and Caged bottle generously shared by BrianK at the Stone sour fest, he brought this out for me to try and I’m really happy he did, thanks dude. Pours red with a pink head. Nose is sweet tart and sour. Taste is sweet and tart with big bourbon notes, this is all around interesting. Its got bourbon fruit and its quite dry. Very nice and very different.

Courtesy TheCheeseMan. This rarity shows a beautiful profile of hazy, ruby-red liquid topped with a frothy, light pink head. Scant arches of ribbony lace mark the glass. The nose puts sweet and sour blueberries and blackberries on full display. Fruity, jammy notes are comforting up front, providing nice contrast to the tart, ascorbic funk and farmhouse wood that is to follow. In the flavor, raspberries join the party, lending their unique tartness to the sweeter blue and black varieties. Sour and oaky, with a vanilla undertone, the funky yeast clearly makes its presence known. Medium bodied and slightly prickly on the tongue, some underlying sweetness emerges on the finish to calm the acidity and the lively carbonation. Somewhat of a lambic/sour/wild hybrid, this is a really unique and enjoyable brew.

750ml bottle courtesy of CaptainCougar. Opaque, murky hard core purple color. Nice foamy head. Big sour tastes, lots of wild yeast action, almost overpowering the berry flavors. Some alcohol in the aroma. Awesome, unique, and memorable.

red pour with a pink head, Man, huge sweet blueberry and oak aroma. Flavor follows through with some funk notes, vanilla, oak, bourbon, and blackberry. Dry, tart, crisp. Yum! Plenty of carbonation as well.
