Commercial Description:
This cask-conditioned session ale has a luscious brown body and is lavashly hopped with American grown Centennial hops. Blue Collar Brown is a salute to Williamsports working men and women, rich in flavor but low in alcohol. Served from our 45 degree cask room via handpump. 4.3% ABV

Draft, Bullfrog Brewery. Pours a clear, dark reddish-brown color; off-white head with patchy lacing. Basic wet malts and floral notes in the aroma. Light-to-medium, watery mouthfeel: toasty grains and wet, tea-like malts; very basic, grainy malt character; not much here. Light, iced tea and wet malt finish.

A fairly enjoyable brown ale, just a little on the watery end of things. Very basic but pretty good.

10 oz pull from the handpump, at brewpub. Pours a clear brown body with a nice almost one finger creamy beige head with the usual nice retention. Nose is fairly light, with a lightly sweet nutty malt note and distinct centennial hops. The flavor is quite smooth with nutty and toasted malts with a nice hop level up front that leaves a low lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied with a great creamy texture from the handpump. Overall, I’m always willing to try any offering from the handpump where ever I go. This was worth trying.

this beer was a poor brown ale. No body and off taste (for a brown). Strong hops flavor and no complexity. but it is smooth. Had it as ’blue collar brown’.
