Pours a hazy glowing gold with an orange tint (Shane’s poured completely clear.....weird). Nose of Brett (light and not overwhelming), citrus, cooking spices, and some banana. Flavor was citrus fruits, banana, brett and as the beer warmed it became a bit more tart, becoming in my opinion a great Saison. PilsnerPeter (2617), Flushing, New York, USA

Dry bread crust aroma with crackery notes, dry phenolics, mild white pepper, sage and herbal suggestions. Crisp and fluffy carbonation. Dry flavor with light bread crust and a crisp wheaty presence meshing with some dry phenolics and light lemony notes. Fairly dry throughout with a peppery noble/hallertau spiciness. A nice Saison. puzzl (2635), New York, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 21, 2009 Bottle from Kramer. Yeasty, mushy grassy aroma, doughy, lots of farmhousey and pils flavors. Herbal, light flavor, nice grainy unmalted flavor, a little spritzty, very dry with no sourness. Full flavored, but something here is missing. yobdoog (1460), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

Nice looking beer. Aroma is not as spiced and has some funk and bread. Taste is sweet and dry with a little belgian spices. arrogantb (707), Denver, Colorado, USA

750ml bottle thanks to vwcraig. Gold foil over a cage and cork. Color is cloudy yellow with a large dense head. Smells dirty, a little spice. Nice soft mouthfeel and a very good taste which is a little hard to describe but easily identified as a saison. This is a good saison but the price tag is quite hefty at $16.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 17, 2009 Courtesy GodOfThunder. Pours a hazy gold color, with a medium off white head. Smells of some mild spices, sweeter citrus, and maybe a touch of hops. fairly simple nose. The flavor also seemed pretty simple, but not too bad. Had a decent amount of some pepper spice, and maybe orange peel as well. Pretty easy to drink, although not the most dynamic saison Ive ever had. Pretty drinkable for an American saison. daknole (2972), Plantation, Florida, USA
