Commercial Description:
A complex combination of fruit, peppery spice, hops and malt dominate the nose and palette of this Belgian-inspired seasonal. Wonderfully strong yet surprisingly refreshing, this is the real lawnmower beer of Belgium.

Shared a 750 at the brewpub with the guys. Pours a slightly hazy- High carbonation disturbance in the bottle- with a nice lasting fluffy white head. Nice herbal and citrus hop aroma mixed in with an awesomely fresh doughy malt slight cracker and light spice- with earthy and peppery spice and saltiness. More phenolic spice, light citrus hint, lemon dough, bread, and good yeasty character- spice and earth. Finish is light and crisp with a touch of citrus tartness in the end. Real nice saison.

Bottle thanks to lukin013. Pour is deep cloudy golden with a huge rocky white head. Aroma is black pepper, orange, coriander, hay and barnyard funk. Very true to saison style. Flavor is very true to nose with a nice pepper bite and a clean wheaty flavor. Dry hops detectable in finish along with orange and clove. Very rich and full example of the style.

750ml bottle thanks to vwcraig. Gold foil over a cage and cork. Color is cloudy yellow with a large dense head. Smells dirty, a little spice. Nice soft mouthfeel and a very good taste which is a little hard to describe but easily identified as a saison. This is a good saison but the price tag is quite hefty at $16. (bottle thanks MatSciGuy!) Pours hazy orange with some particles and a fluffy white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of hay, must, pepper, coriander, and a bit of funk as well. The taste has a bit of peach, coriander, funk, with plenty of yeast on the finish. After warming some more, the aroma takes on more fruity characteristics of mandarin orange and strawberry. The taste has some orange zest and the finish is lightly bitter as well. Mouthfeel is medium and creamy. This was a quality saison. Thanks again, Levi!

Bottle: Pours a transparent deep golden with a large, pillowy froth of clumpy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet pale biscuity malts and a touch of grassy hops and mild brett. Body starts with good fullness and sweet doughy malts with some lemony citrus character and clove spice before a drier, slightly earthy bitter finish. Fairly smooth and very true to style. A nice saison.

Shared by Hophead84. Pours a hazy glowing gold with an orange tint (Shane’s poured completely clear.....weird). Nose of Brett (light and not overwhelming), citrus, cooking spices, and some banana. Flavor was citrus fruits, banana, brett and as the beer warmed it became a bit more tart, becoming in my opinion a great Saison.

Bottle via PUB’N. Pours turbid dark straw orangy with 3-finger creamy white head and wonderful head shapes upon repouring. Nose is funky yeasty spicy esters, chessy feety notes, earthy florals. Tastes a bit tart, very floral, earthy, with cobwebby esters, grainy malty notes, and a dry finish. Very unique palate, very fluffy, Simcoe hoppy, floral, earthy, and yeasty spicy. This one is very good.
