Jul 11, 2009 Bottle, courtesy JW77. Cloudy amber pour, thick white head and frothy lacing. Nose is slightly tart, dry biscuit, bread and yeast. Flavor is apple, some cinnamon, spices and just very good overall. Smooth, very easy to drink. Very nice.

Jun 27, 2009 Updated: Jun 29, 2009Had a small sample of this one from JW77 at the CCB BA Bolita release party. Pours a hazy straw yellow to light golden color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of ripe fresh fruit, yeast, some light candy sugar, light caramel, some hints of spice. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of candy sugar, light banana and floral hops, honey, light caramel, and hints of bread. Generally medium body with a pleasing floral finish.

Jun 27, 2009 Updated: Jun 29, 2009Thanks to JW77 for opening a bottle at the CCB Bolita Release. Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Nose is vinegar, sugary sweetness, yeast, pepper, and some light fruit. Flavor is enjoyable Belgian-style pale: some tartness, hops, yeast, pepper, and a balanced fermented honeyed flavor. Enjoyable beer overall.

Jun 22, 2009 On tap, at brewery. Pours a hazy dark gold body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is very fruity with lots of pale maltiness, light perfumy hops. Nice yeasty and bready malt flavor with some light perfumy hops. Noticable but not overpowering alcohol. Lingering spicy and yeasty finish. Mouthfeel is full and creamy with gentle light carbonation. Overall a pretty nice beer, very solid.

May 24, 2009 On tap at Capone’s. My first Bullfrog, and it’s a treat! Lovely pour, like cider but with a frothy carbonation. The nose is sweet and yeasty, like a Belgian blonde with some candied malts. Body is pretty hefty, and dangerously drinkable. Tropical fruits come in as you get further into the brew, with some straw and yeast in the dry-ish finish. Very nice.
