Commercial Description:
Brewed with 100% Organic ingredients, this golden elixir has a strikingly fruity and honeyed aroma. The palette is spicier than the aroma shows yet the fruitiness won't be outdone. This beer finishes long and dry with a wonderfully complex character. This beer is served very cold, we recommend letting it warm slightly to bring out its complexity!

750 ml cc Bottle from PUB’N. Produces a huge cork pop accompanied by a flash of white smoke. Nice! Pours turbid deep golden toward orange with a huge, fluffy 4-finger, vert loud, boisterous head that seems to say, "You can;t handle the Diabolique, punk!" Nose is bready rock sugary malt, spicy yeast, florals, apricotty fruit, and hopcit. Tastes rock malty, fruity, spicy yeasty, with backup floral and peppery notes. Palate is very lively, on the dry side, with spucy peppery, yeasty, and fruit throughout. The head stays through the repour, and forms marvelous shapes reminiscent of La Chouffe Houbbelein. This one, as with all the BF 750s I’ve had, is very good.

750mL bottle courtesy of kmweaver. Thanks Ken! Dark hazed gold, monster off white head. Lemon meringue and powdered pears aromas ride soft undercurrents of spiced bread and hay. Juiced lemony fruit and spiced yeast balance well on a soft honey caramel backbone. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A nice rendition coming from PA...

25.4 oz bottle. Pours mostly white foam that slowly collapses leaving a craggy headscape atop a hazed honey brown. Lovely lacy swirls. Nose is yeast and pastry dough with a touch of citrus peel. Smooth yeasty body with zingy carb. Taste an interesting mix of banana and citrus. Light spice; dryish. A wonderful Belgian take but still unique.

750mL bottle. Pours a golden-orange color; off-white head with decent retention and medium-bubbled lacing. Lots of honey, overripe yellow fruits, and white grape notes; sweet and pleasant nose. Lively carbonation. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: honey, yellow fruits, sweet maltiness; very sweet, honeyed core; the carbonation comes off as slightly sharp. Medium finish: honey, yellow fruits, and breadiness; ends just a touch on the sweet side.

750ml bottle from the brewery. With a loud pop of the cork (leaving a dent in my ceiling), it scared me for a second but it didn’t gush at all... from the bottle it pours a cloudy, soft golden orange with a firm, thick and foamy off-white head, standing tall and morphing into sea foam much like a true abbey beer would. Abundant yeast phenols in the nose, dusty, minerally, earthy, delicate and inviting. Note of dry peach and orange peel and nutty crackers come together well. Smells downright amazing. Full, thick and rich body. Up front it’s sweet fruit (cantaloupe, under-ripe orange, kiwi), with some candy sugar noted over the middle. The back is more of a creamed orange and honey-flavored candy sugar... delicate but bright. Fantastic and satisfying.

hazy gold, wispy white head, streak of lace, sweet fruity estery aroma with light spicyness, lots of sweet Belgian candy flavor, a yeastyness adds support for the sweetness, light spices blend well with the yeastiness for a balanced finish
