Pours a copper color with a medium sized, dense tan colored head. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, malt, floral. Flavor is again grapefruit, malt, pine, yeast, orange zest, alcohol. palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finished, dry and very bitter. Very nice stuff, though I don’t prefer my IIPA’s to be quite so dry.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 29, 2009 On tap @ Bullfrog. Clear amber with an off white head that leaves some big lacing. Aroma of citrus, flowers and sweet sugary caramel malt. Sweet at first that fades to a strong bitterness. Medium body with a mild carbonation and a syrupy mouth feel. This is a very good IIPA, lots of bitterness with a lot of dry hop aroma and flavor. boamr (138), Pennsylvania, USA
