Aroma of peppery Belgian yeast, bubblegum, and pine-like hops. Strong bitterness paired with fruity yeast esters. Peppery spice notes are counteracted by citric hops. Soft on the palate which works well for this beer. Finishes dry with some lingering citrus hop flavors.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 20, 2009 In short: A astringent, and yeasty and sharp IPA with an “all over the place” flavour profile. Good stuff.
How: Bottle 750ml. Consumed (not fresh enough) when probably 6+ months of age. Sent to me by MrChopin, thanks a lot Kevin
The look: Cloudy orange blonde body topped by a large off-white head
In long: The nose is a mixture of radioactive grapefruits, cosmic pine tree and some quantum bakery notes (fresh cake/muffin). Taste is very yeasty, celestial biscuits, magnetic fruits (oranges, pineapples, grapefruits) and universal pine-tree. A bit dry with a medium molecular bitterness. Smooth sinusoidal body and carbonation. A little nuclear acidity. Pretty discreet on the quantum malt front. This beers blends many elements and creates a paradoxical equation. Some people may call it complex, but I think that this is all over the place more than complex. Still, this beer was a lot of fun and I suspect a very fresh bottle is a killer but my bottle was 6+ months old and was showing signs of quantum decay. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 17, 2009 750ml bottle. Batch 2, bottle #235. Juicy and slightly hops balanced by a light amount of spicy Belgian yeast esters on the nose. Fairly fruity from the hops, peppery from the yeast with a good dose of toasty caramel from the malt. Earthy tree bark and leaf pile as the beer opens up. Pours dark, hazed amber with a creamy and very frothy off-white head. Excellent head retention with spotty lacing down the glass. Creamy malt profile on the tongue. Juicy apricot and peach flavors. Toasted bread. Leafy and slightly earthy. Far from abrasively bitter, but rather pleasant. Lush texture. Delicate carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter on the back of the tongue. Decent, but nothing to write home about. Thanks Jason!

Nose is light malt, light fruit, candy apple, and berry cocktail. Flavor is very similar with a unique IPA quality that blends the fruitiness right into the beeriness. Malty and berry-y at the same time. Medium bodied and nice overall. kiefdog (1631), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 5, 2009 Pours deep orange. Nose is an unpleasant mix of malts, belgian spicy yeast and citrus and pine hops. Flavor clashes big time. I don’t care for belgian yeasts with high hopped beers. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 1, 2009 Courtesy of kiefdog. Pours murky copper with lasting off white head. The aroma is orange flavored hard candy, tangelo, floral hops, spicy hops and some sweet malts out in the back. The taste brings forth earthy notes not noticed in the nose as well as citrus, tangelo and spicy hops. Just like the nose there is a persistent yet timid undercurrent of sweet malts. Very nice IPA. bvc (325), Kenmore, Washington, USA

Hazy peach brown color with nice fluffy head. Biscuit, wet saw dust, honey and vanilla...the hop notes are ther but so secondary. Great carb, sharp bittering, some malty depth and cotton candy sweetness. I really dig this beer, but an ipa...really?...so not to style. Thanks Jason. after4ever (2806), Brier, Washington, USA
