| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 4, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Gummy, juicy hop fragrant aroma. Citrus and pine heavy. Pours a middle orange-golden, lightly hazed, with a just past white head, lacing. Flavor was a bit muddled and malt messy, but then opened up slowly into some rich, raw, unbridled hop flavors. I want a little more bitterness for balance, as the hop flavor doesn’t feel counter-weighted. Finishes a little dirty and a bit thin. Nothing crazy. kmweaver (2484), Sebastopol, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 4, 2008 Draft @ Bullfrog. Pours a clear, slightly dulled golden-orange color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Very light, slightly bland aroma, showing minimal hops, some sugar, and cardboard-y malts; light and generally inoffensive. Medium mouthfeel: stronger show of hoppy bitterness in the mouth: citrus and soft earthy / floral hops upfront, solid levels of bitterness, and fairly drinkable and pleasant overall; much better than the nose; solid pale ale after the initial impression. Medium finish: toasty malts, mineral and citrus bitterness, and sugar. tronraner (1937), Seymour, Tennessee, USA

The aroma is herbal hops with slight tangerine and white bread. The flavor is herbal with very mild citric bitterness. a bit of toast comes out toward the finish. Thinner-bodied than I would like. bigrond (1055), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA
