| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Aroma is kind of bad, like sour grapes and a wet horse saddle, didn’t seem appealing initially at all. No head, okay colour, sort of a yellow-gold tint to it. Taste is pretty good, nice dry finish, very easy drinkability, good for many many pints. Found on tap at a pub in Dublin, where it belongs. zvikar (431), Tel-Aviv, Israel

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 15, 2009 Draft at the Dubliner in St. Louis. Pours clear gold with a small white head that disappers quickly. Notes of red apple, yeast, dry white wine, and sugar. Very easy to drink, light bodied, smooth, and sweet. Mild, without much tartness. This seems to me to be the typical cider I’d find in an Irish/English-style bar in the States, so I felt like I’d had it a dozen times before. Nothing special. durhambeer (1214), Durham, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 25, 2009 Bottle. Not sure why I bought this as I haven’t had a cider in 10-12 years, nor have I had the desire to. Poured over ice as seems to be the common way to drink this one. Pours orange/gold and clear with no head. Smells of apples, some pear and slightly musky notes. Sweet with slightly drier finish. Meh. Appearance: unusual bright copper gold look without any foam. Nose: Red wild apple tartness , decent depth , hint of champagne dryness. Flavor/Palate : medium sweet for cider. Light tart body with thin character at finish. Apple character quiet hidden. Underdeveloped.

I really like it, but we cam across this in England, they were drinking it on the rocks. This seems to cut some of the sweetness and makes it very refreshing.
