[2320-20090719] 568mL bottle. Fresh flower apples aroma. Clear, light pink yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Sweet sugary yeast apples flavour. Medium body. Odd sugary apple but fair.

2009-07-19. Crisp yellow body with white foam. Muted, mildly musty apples in the aroma. Flavour is mild, sweet apples, generic sweetness. Average to light bodied palate. Okay for a mainstream cider but its a bit dull. Bottle from LCBO

Bland example, little in the way of apples on the nose, sweet palate with a hint of fruit, finish is minimal. Actually bought for cooking....it was cheap!

568ml?
Poured out a big fizzy white head that actually stuck around quite awhile just above a skim level, bright orange gold. The aroma sometimes seems dead on but often seemed too far down the road of apple juice - closer to a freshly opened tube of frozen apple juice to go along with some chemicals. Needs to be more dry in the taste. Oversweet apple juice. A bit too thick and syrupy but not over the top bad... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING.

Bottle brown, 568 ml
Appearance: Pours beautiful, deep, dark, essential, shiny golden body, carbonation of the body is lively, head is initially huge, quickly decreasing to small, no lacing, head is regularly white in colour and foamy, regular in structure.
Aroma: I have to be sure that it is my first Cider so I may not be objective. Some dust, notes of red apple peal, some apple juice, rather sweet oriented aroma but marked with gentle alcoholic background and sulphur like notes, some sourness, very easily recognisable notes of fermentation yeast, red apples, notes of malt hidden under the apple aroma. My scor will stay reserved as I have no experience in Cider rating.
Flavour: Front is soft, refreshing, highly saturated, mellow, quite creamy in texture, not much of carbonation present on palate, very gentle true apple aftertaste, after all those artificially tasting Fruit beers I have had this one constitutes not only a nice beer as such but also a style worth tasting and potentially inviting and interesting. Very easy going and pleasant. Finish duration is short to medium.
Palate: Body is light, texture is very soft, watery to creamy, carbonation on palate is medium, finish feel is fruity sweet, positive.

Bottle from the LCBO. Colour has a pinkish-gold hue with a surprisingly large white head, and a lot of carbonation. The aroma is a bit musty, with notes of slightly oxidized apples, and a mild cheesiness which is not unpleasant. The body is fairly crisp, and the flavour is pleasant to start, with a fresh apple character, and even the finish seems dry at first. But the overly sweet aftertaste belies the glucose syrup and sugar mentioned in the ingredients list on the label.

Die Schaumkrone hält nicht. Es ist süß-apfelig, nichts überraschendes, die geschmacksintensivität ist mittelmäßig. Fazit: Ok

Golden coloured and clear. Has a white head. Looks good. But then, hardly no aroma and only some faint sweet flavor. Perhaps I should try putting some inc in it to give it some aroma and flavor...
